Moto GP, Austria: podiums and good placements across all levels!
The Austrian GP at Spielberg racetrack has brought with it summery weekend of motoGP although not quite as hot as it has been these last few race weekends We at Nolan Group also took a break to watch and support our guys live! As usual, they put all their effort into their races!
Petrucci almost scored a podium and Rins grabbed a top 10 finish.
Enea Bastianini, on the other hand, was so unlucky, missing out on the victory in Moto3, after an exciting comeback, but achieved a brilliant second place.
Now it’s time to get Silverstone into your diary, British GP up next!
We thank you for the numerous photos of your holidays that you have sent us on our social channels! It’s like we came with you. Keep it up!
Danilo Petrucci FOURTH
“I am very pleased with this qualifying. To be honest I think that the three guys in the front row will play the victory and my goal is to stay with them throughout the race. It will be important to manage the tyres well. Finishing in Top 5 would be a good result”.
Alex Rins EIGHTH
“We needed a very, very good start and I was proud of what I did. Also in the first few laps I was able to hold my position, then lap by lap and during the last part of the race when the tyre dropped off it was impossible for me to keep the rhythm and Rossi and Pedrosa passed me. I tried to stay with them but it was not possible. It’s something that usually, with my riding style, I don’t suffer with as much and I can even gain positions late in the race. But in the last two rounds it’s been the opposite. We need to continue to work on the last part of races because the team and bike have a lot of potential. Anyway, I’m excited to ride at Silverstone, I like it a lot, and I hope to do a good job there.”
Enea Bastianini SECOND
“It was a very difficult race and I started badly: I will definitely have to work on this aspect. At the beginning I had to get used to a change to the engine brake and it was difficult to get the front ones, but once I got the right feeling with the bike (which was perfect today) I managed to set my pace and make some good laps that allowed me to reach the leading group and pass them. In the standings are 41 points from Marco [Bezzecchi], but in our category anything can happen. From now on it will be important to stay focused and try until the end!”
