High end Italian accessory manufacturer Rizoma has appointed two industry experts to help develop its UK presence in 2013, engaging Northamptonshire-based Motogear as sales representatives for the UK, with Burton-based Platinum Communication handling a PR and media programme aimed at raising awareness of the brand and its innovative range of products.
Based in the Milan area, Rizoma embodies the ‘Made in Italy’ philosophy by combining clean, elegant design in its extensive range of over 1300 accessories, with an unparalleled attention to detail and an elegant minimalist styling. The company has invested heavily in the latest 3D CAD software and cutting edge CNC machine tools, bringing aerospace technology to the motorcycle industry.
Since its conception 15 years ago, the company has developed a strong presence across mainland Europe and North America, with further global expansion plans in markets as diverse as Latin America and the Middle East. Rizoma has also established itself in racing circles thanks to a high-profile sponsorship of the LCR Honda MotoGP team and the adoption of the innovative lever protection Proguard System by the vast majority of the Grand Prix grid.
